Life at Daugherty isn’t like your typical consulting job. Every team member plays an integral role in our company’s success, and we treat you that way, starting with our culture.
In our Dev Center, specifically, we like to say that we have the culture of a startup with the security of a 30+ year old company. By that, it's a casual, relaxed agile shop focused on helping you create your best work. The other side... Our consultants work in the cities they live, and you don’t have to worry about your job ending when a contract is up.
Our team is helping fortune 500 clients build solutions across a plethora of technologies. It's exciting, takes superior focus, and incredible passion for your work. Do you have what it takes to be part of Team Daugherty?
Bottom Line—We hire smart people, help them cultivate their talent, and celebrate their successes. This is the best job you’ll ever have, working with some of the most talented people of your career.

So, what kinds of things do our consultants work on? Here are a few recent developer stories...
Quick Serve Restaurant Breaks Into Home Delivery Service:
A quick-serve restaurant saw an opportunity to grow global sales if they scaled rapidly in the delivery market, so ramping up delivery became the CEO’s top initiative. Daugherty integrated mobile, Point of Sale systems, mobile applications and eCommerce platforms, as well as created and managed a deployment model for delivery ordering strategy. Five months into the program, Daugherty had created incredible impact: 1.6 million-plus orders fulfilled, 4,200-plus restaurants launched globally, and 12 countries with newly offered or expanded delivery.
Tracking Application Saves Agricultural Company Millions:
A multinational agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology corporation was losing $1 million a year to grain spoilages in South America, where transports between facilities and fields could take 48 hours or longer. Sensitive cargo was often exposed to extreme temperatures, moisture or even sun damage. Daugherty built a central dashboard to track all the trucks at once, to gauge a truck’s distance from a processing facility, or to contact plant operators when the grain was reaching dangerous heat or humidity thresholds. The app, which was deployed in South America, has been designed to be used anywhere in the world with very little additional work.
Innovative Application Allows Nonprofit Organizations To Work Together:
A nonprofit organization wanted to find a case management software platform specifically designed for charities. The client had previously developed software to manage their day-to-day, but it was outdated. Daugherty developed the inReach Network, an innovative not-for-profit solution which uses applications for individual offices to run more efficiently and for different charities supporting the same individuals to share pertinent information. Our solution is in use by a number of veterans’ organizations today.
If it’s important to you, it’s important to us. Taking care of where we live and the people in our community is paramount to who we are at Daugherty. We strive to be leaders in corporate philanthropy and citizenship, which means we are constantly working to improve the quality of life in our communities and provide opportunities for team members to get involved, too.
Known as our Good Works Team, they’re responsible for promoting Good Works throughout our organization. Whether planning activities, making charitable contributions, submitting ideas, or simply showing up for events, every team member is welcome to participate, at any level of involvement.
I have been working at Daugherty Business Solutions full-time (More than 8 years)
- Very supportive of its employees. Daugherty continuously invests in its employees. The ICAgile partnership catapulted my career. Unmatched training program!
- Great benefits that make it as easy as possible to work while raising a family. Daugherty leadership makes this a priority each year and you can tell.
- Really appreciate the Health & Wellness program, and the free screenings, fitness center, and fun employee competitions.
- Love the “culture of giving” that Daugherty has created with its community outreach activities. Leadership encourages and provides avenues to help employees support causes they care about and do amazing things in our community. I just saw we raised over $130,000 in a two week campaign!
- The investments attract some of the best people I have ever worked with, in terms of knowledge, expertise, professionalism, and character, so I’m working with outstanding people every day!
- Some growing pains as we climbed over 1,200 employees and highest revenues ever but I think employees understand there’s a balance when you have an entrepreneurial culture.
Advice to Management
- Continue to invest in current employees, it’s been fun watching friends take on more responsibility.
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Daugherty Business Solutions (Atlanta, GA) in January 2019.
You will have a recruiter phone interview you then if you pass you will ask to go to the office for face to face interview and you need to wear a business suit. If you pass then you will be scheduled for 2 more interviews, 1 with a line of service leader that will interview you more on the function say PM stuff for PM's, software questions for Software engineers, SQL and Data process for Data Analytics.
then a line of service interview then Business Manager interview. These are all face to face.
