I have been working at Dava Oncology full-time
It is a pretty good place. Play is decent. They will take an inexperienced person. Lots of opportunity to grow. At least for me, in my team, I have been getting steadily more responsibility. I like my boss. Lots of training. Lots of different and varied work and responsibility.
CEO is rude. Difficult person...trouble is, he is involved in everything, often does not know what he is talking about, and gets annoyed when you criticize something. They expect lots from you, have to work long hours, and on weekends. Poor IT. Lots of incompetent people who make life hard.
Advice to Management
CEO should behave better. His difficult nature makes it hard to work with him.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dava Oncology (Dallas, TX) in December 2016.
Interviewed via phone - simple interview looking over resume. Interviewed in person with President and Head of Business Development. Interview began 20 minutes late. Overall positive experience. Seemed very eager to help fresh graduates get a start in the pharmaceutical industry. Very friendly and open minded individuals. Interview essentially looks over your resume and asks questions about each section to find their relevance.
