I have been working at Dave & Buster's full-time (Less than a year)
It didn't take long for me to establish new friendships and efficient teamwork. The management and employees are very nice. The potential for career growth is there and always opportunities to earn a lot of money on tipped income. They are also flexible if you have other personal obligations such as family or school.
Their benefits policy is not favorable because you don't really gain access to substantially good benefits until you've been there for a year. Upon start, you have access to some benefits but they are not comprehensive at all.
Advice to Management
People are in need of comprehensive and valuable benefits for self and family. It would be rather difficult to wait until you're eligible for a higher tier benefits package. Also, the base pay could be better but when you're on tipped income that's somewhat trivial.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Dave & Buster's (Plymouth Meeting, PA) in July 2015.
3 interviews with HR, General manager, and Sales director. Basic questions about past work history and real life scenarios. Was a process that was about a week long. All phone interviews.
