I worked at David J. Joseph full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good company to work for, relaxed work environment, great location in Downtown Cincinnati. Free parking in their private lot on the outer perimeter of downtown. Nice office environment.

    Cons

Niche industry (Scrap Metal) promotion from within could be limited at times due to roles being industry specific requiring prior experience.

    Advice to Management

Look for ways for current employees to gain exposure to some roles that require experience to offer more room for internal job progression.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at David J. Joseph (Bloomington, IN) in October 2016.

    Interview

Brief introductory screening phone call followed by an in person interview a few weeks later. I applied online through my school's career services site and they gave me a follow up call that led to an interview thereafter.
