Mission: We have an entrepreneurial office culture. We work hard, we push ourselves to excel, and we smile in the face of the impossible. We're building things that have never been built, learning together how to delight a rapidly evolving mobile app market.
Please call us ‘D-N-A’: we make games, a social games platform, e-commerce products and other services for mobile devices.
We believe mobile is the future of human communications and entertainment: we aim to impact and delight this mobile world.
We are proud to host the leading mobile social games platform Mobage (say it "mo-ba-gey"). Mobage hosts our own hit games on Android & iOS, and a plethora of games from our third party partners.

In January 2013, DeNA unveiled its new corporate logo.
This new logo represents two key goals for DeNA as a corporate entity: “Delight” and “Impact the World”.
DeNA is committed to bringing delight to people all over the world through its services. The logo's initial letter "D" is a smile emoticon, symbolizing the company's ongoing pursuit of customer delight.
DeNA strives to be an approachable, friendly company for people worldwide, and to create services that have a positive impact on their lives. The handwritten font is intended to represent this concept of a lighthearted, caring and fun company.
DeNA leads the world in its mobile Internet expertise. Based on the company's deep understanding of global customer needs, DeNA will continue the rapid development of new services that bring delight to people and impact around the world.
I worked at DeNA full-time (More than 5 years)
- Good employee culture - Good work/life balance - Supportive management - Good talent
- Company vision might be off-track - Lack of recent successes caused employee morale to take a dive - When I left, there weren't many exciting projects on the horizon
Advice to Management
Stop making the same games over and over
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at DeNA (San Francisco, CA) in August 2015.
The interview process from the first call to the first in person interview was very well organized. I met with four members of the team and felt very welcome. The interview started on time and each person spent about 30 minutes. I spoke with a producer, public relations manager, marketing manager and HR manager.
