Pros
Allowed me to take long term military leave that allowed greater flexibility for childcare and telework. Program manager is actively engaging with me while on leave to ensure I can return to my job. During covid 19, my program manager relaxed any utilization requirements because of childcare issues.
Cons
Maintaining a TS/SCI security clearance can be hard if you have foreign close relatives.
