Pros
Stellar work environment, unbelievable group of peopleCons
I cannot think of any cons at DGI applied through an employee referral The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Deepgram (United States) in Apr 2022
Interview
My process started with a referral which was followed up on quickly by the recruiting team for a half hour screening call. After the recruiter call I had a half hour meeting/interview with a researcher on the team covering background, prior projects and touching on some basic ML concepts. The next step was a take home task. I thought that the task was relatively vague and I found it difficult to make progress as I did not have prior experience working with audio data. After the take home came a 45 minute meeting with two team members to talk about the take home task. About 3 days after this interview I got a call saying that I didn't get an offer. This was not surprising given my take home and overall I was happy with the process as it was both prompt and professional.Build a model for speaker change detection.
