I worked at Deer Oaks Mental Health Assoc part-time (More than 5 years)
--Good support for job success with optional opportunities for ongoing consultation and CE.
--Produce good forms to address constant changes in Medicare/Medicaid/Other
--Support a wide range of practitioner orientations including pastoral counseling
Very good opportunities for horizontal expansions into new facilities; much fewer opportunities to advance vertically into management.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deer Oaks Mental Health Assoc (San Antonio, TX) in March 2011.
The interview process was casual, informal, and very warm. The management team is excellent and made me feel welcomed immediately. The department I worked for was small and the culture was family oriented and made up of top notch professionals.
