I have been working at Defense Contract Management Agency full-time (More than a year)
Benefits including healthcare, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, pension, employer contribution retirement plan with agency matching, advancement opportunities, training, flexible work schedules, paid holidays, generous sick and annual leave.
High turnover. Many of the positions in the agency, especially in contract administration suffer from high turnover due to the abundant opportunities for advancement in the contracting career field.
Advice to Management
Impose agency retention agreements for more positions and not just the Keystone and Critical Acquisition coded positions.
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Defense Contract Management Agency (Los Angeles, CA).
One telephone interview, every candidate gets asked the same questions. Management does not want to meet anyone face to face or ask targeted questions, so some people that get the job are not very good.
