Mission: To create the best food delivery experience in the world.
I worked at Deliveroo (More than a year)
No one breathing down my neck and delegating which shifts you work. Completely flexible, but zero hours.
Dangerous job working on roads all of the time and busy cities! Zero hour contract and poor internal support
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Deliveroo (Dublin, Co. Dublin (Ireland)) in July 2016.
I interviewed for the role of community manager in July.
The role was presented as a mix of Marketing and Sales and as a super cool and excited role. I passed the screening and did the on-site interview with the country managers here in Dublin.
The interviewers just kept asking me the same questions he asked me on the phone and only when I got the chance to ask questions I discovered that this is a sales role and has nothing to do with marketing.
You will simply be talking to restaurants trying to convince them to work with Deliveroo.
Useless to say that they never got back in touch with me to let me know about the interview. I followed up with the interviewer and never got an answer.
Very unprofessional and very arrogant attitude! You are not selling gold and you are not Google so please be more humble!
BBC News has covered our partnership with TripAdvisor so customers can now order through Deliveroo by clicking the ‘order online’ button on a restaurant page. Congrats to the Partnerships team for launching this across 12 countries and 20,000 restaurants!
