Deltek openly communicates with its employees through quarterly meetings. Many of the employees work remotely so there is opportunity to work with many different cultures. The benefits to employees are very good.
Depending on the department, the work/life balance can be disportional. Employees located in the U.S. may be passed over for a job if there's an employee in the Philippines office who wants the same job, even if the person in the Philippines office lacks all of the skills. In many instances, people would work at home rather than come into an office so there wasn't a perception of being "one company".
Advice to Management
If a position is eliminated, attempt to fit that employee into another department so you don't lose those skills. Loyalty to long-time employees is an uncommon practice.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Deltek.
Phone interview with HR recruiter (roughly 15 minutes). Then interviewed with manager and director. Heard back via phone call following week with an offer and accepted it. Started working 2 weeks after that
