Mission: At DentaQuest, it’s our mission to improve the oral health of all and achieve a nation free of dental disease. A nation where no child suffers from the pain of tooth decay. Where adults keep all of their teeth – whether they live in urban or rural areas or ...
The four parts of DentaQuest – Benefits, Care Group, Institute and Foundation – work alongside each other to advance person-centered solutions and build powerful networks of advocates to ensure positive, lasting systemic change. We are driven by our mission to improve the oral health of all and to get there, DentaQuest is changing the oral health industry from the inside out.
Our teams make a real difference in the lives of others. They’re innovative, constantly pushing forward creative solutions that have a tangible impact on the success of our partners, the wellbeing of our members, and the vibrancy of our communities.
It’s an approach that sets us apart - and it’s how we’ve grown into a financially sound organization that helps millions of people stay healthy.
All of our team members have opportunities to further their education and advance their careers through offerings like companywide training, certifications, and tuition assistance. Cultivating that desire to excel and expand is critical to our success as an organization committed to both social impact and business growth.
We recognize that employees with fulfilling personal lives do the best work. Our work-from-home opportunities and flexible schedules help our team members meet family needs and personal responsibilities conveniently - and work when they can accomplish the most. We also encourage team members to live the mission – offering group volunteer opportunities, individual time off for volunteering, corporate matching programs, and more.

For more than 50 years, our teams have worked together to improve the oral health of all and help people get the best possible dental and vision coverage. Our ability to outperform the competition has depended 100% on the diversity of our team members who inspire each other, contribute unique interpretations of the challenges we face, and devise innovative solutions that create a lasting impact.
As our industry continues to evolve, so do the needs of our members and partners. To meet these needs and build on our success, we have to be smarter and more creative than the rest. That’s why we’re committed to harnessing the strength of our differences and cultivating trust in an environment where all of our team members feel represented, truly valued for their contributions, and included in our business decisions.
DentaQuest’s leadership has made it a priority to attract and retain top talent on our innovative, diverse teams. Check out our CEO Steve Pollock’s HuffPost article, “We Can Get Ahead At Work By Embracing Diversity. Here’s Why.”
Our Diversity Goals
DentaQuest is an equal opportunity employer. Your work history is the best measure of the value you’ll bring to our organization. We don’t base employment decisions on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual preference, marital status, age, veteran status, or disability unrelated to one’s ability to do their job.
Every day we work with people who find it challenging to make ends meet and stay healthy. It’s an honor to be able to support our local communities so that more children have places to play and learn, and more families have healthy food to eat and a roof over their heads.
The more we give, the happier and more connected we feel. Throughout the year our teams give back to their communities: We run back-to-school backpack drives so kids can succeed in school. We support the Special Olympics and Missions of Mercy that help thousands get the dental care they need. We walk to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer. We visit local schools to engage kids with fun facts about healthy mouths through donated books. Giving back in this way is a great stress reliever that helps our teams feel more connected to their communities.

Fall: Our annual Mission Month
At DentaQuest, we all get excited when Fall rolls around. Across just one month, our teams contribute more than 2,700 hours in volunteer service to a range of organizations. For instance, we revitalize community gardens at local elementary schools, enhance temporary housing for families with sick children, and write letters and cards to U.S. troops stationed around the world.

Our teams got together and created the following guiding values for our work:

New projects every 6 months. You will be always be learning something new. Friendly colleagues.
Politically challenged PMO is a revolving door.
Advice to Management
Stabilize the PMO for Agile projects and scrum master roles.
I applied online. I interviewed at DentaQuest in April 2018.
I submitted an application last month for a HR Representative role in Milwaukee and received an email from a recruiter (Ryan) to schedule a phone interview. At the time, I was extremely interested in the role and was excited to hear back. After I responded with my availability, we confirmed a scheduled time but during the day of the phone interview, he never called. I tried reaching out to him again but never received a response which I found to be extremely unprofessional.
As a recruiter myself, I understand how important time is for both the candidate and the recruiter. If this is how the recruiter treats candidates, how does he treat employees? If I was not a qualified candidate and he missed the scheduled phone interview, a rejection email would have been common courtesy. Because of this experience with the recruiter, I would not want to work for a company like this.
