Dentsu Aegis Network’s vision is ‘Innovating the way brands are built’ and our offering is to be ‘different and better’ in a market defined by Globalisation and Convergence. Globalisation, where advertisers need to evaluate different markets and regions to judge where future growth will come from and prioritise their resources accordingly and Convergence; which has swept away geographic and technological borders. Our vision, ‘Innovating the way brands are built’ unites us as one organisation, focused on delivering first-class results and is underpinned by a clear set of values and behaviours that guide us in everything we do. Sharing the same values and acting as one cohesive organisation will enable us to grow our business globally, by ensuring that our global clients enjoy a consistent experience regardless of the market. Our clients and employees increasingly ask us what we stand for, how we think and what makes us different and better – our values help answer these questions.

Values

Our values define what is important to us and how we do business. They are a shared set of beliefs, which drive our behaviour and bind us together beyond individual brands and geographies. As Dentsu Network and Aegis Media came together to create Dentsu Aegis Network, we engaged with our people to identify the values which made sure we retained the best of our collective heritages, created the opportunities to collaborate with Dentsu Inc. and would be critical to the successful delivery of our new vision. Our values are:

Agile – we need to be nimble, quick and flexible, thinking and acting differently
Pioneering – we’re innovative, risk-taking self starters, building an industry legacy
Ambitious – we have a trail-blazing and inquisitive culture where relentlessness and hunger are rewarded
Responsible – we take individual and collective responsibility for our thoughts and actions
Collaborative – we work together globally to deliver a consistent brand experience and partner together locally to provide the best client solution

Our values permeate Dentsu Aegis through our behaviour both as individuals and companies. They determine how we work in partnership and through wider collaboration, how we approach our relationships internally, with existing clients and how we win new business. They also influence the way we hire new people, develop employees, review performance, evaluate reward and achieve promotion.

Through our ten global network brands Carat, Dentsu, Dentsu media, iProspect, Isobar, mcgarrybowen, MerkleMKTG, Posterscope and Vizeum – and supported by our growing specialist/multi-market brands – Dentsu Aegis Network provides best-in-class expertise and capabilities in brand, media, digital and specialist communications through our original holistic and integrated approach.

Our communications services include digital creative execution, content creation, media planning, sports and entertainment marketing, SEO strategy, near-field communications (NFC) and marketing analytics.

We believe that we can have an impact as a global marketing and communications business, especially when we work together.  Gender equality, and diversity and inclusion more broadly, is a responsibility that we all share – it is something every employee at DAN can have a positive impact on. Find out how we do this, and if there is a career opportunity within our network where you can be and asset to this initiative

Dentsu Aegis in the UK launched an employee network for LGBT+ staff, bolstering is named &Proud and primarily acts as a support group for staff.

It is important we find ways to advance gender equality within our senior leadership. Not only is it the right thing to do, but it makes sense for our business. Diversity means different perspectives, approaches and styles of leadership, which fuels innovation and stronger performance.

That's why in 2015 we launched our first Women & Leadership programme, ONE, driving our commitment to 50/50 gender balance in our leadership positions by 2020.

Here at Dentsu Aegis Network we're launching The Code. A school programme which brings to life the power of our people and our network, to make a positive impact in society and on the next generation of talent.

Over 1,000 Dentsu Aegis Network staff will get behind the initiative by uniting in their efforts to support charitable organisations within their local communities, and consequently creating huge positive impact across Australia and New Zealand.
Last year, more than 1,500 staff members rallied together on One Day for Change to donate a total of 5,100 hours to causes close to their hearts, adding to a collective team of 6,100 staff and 29,000 hours of time across DAN’s APAC region.
