I have been working at Denver Health and Hospital Authority full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, decent pay, and some departments are wonderful to work for (IT).

    Cons

Many other departments are disorganized (HR being one of the worst), there has been a lot of leadership turmoil and turnover in the last 4 years. Repeal of Obamacare will severely impact DH if it happens.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in your employees and it will pay off in the long run!

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Denver Health and Hospital Authority (Denver, CO) in July 2017.

    Interview

Applied online and received a phone screen interview about 5 weeks later. The interview was standard for individuals applying for any levels of biostatistics roles. It lasted for 50 minutes with about 30 behavioral questions of both open ended and yes/no. Overall experience was alright. They wanted to hire again because of recent restructuring.
I also notice this place is hiring from time to time, although the pay is high, I wonder is the turnover is high as well due to constant restructuring or management problem?

    Interview Questions

    • Behavior questions mostly, your strength and weakness, your greatest accomplishment in the past 6 months, how do you maintain the quality of your work, how often you use a list of softwares, what the company does, have you done something that influence your current work place in a positive way, your ideal work place...etc   2 Answers
