I have been working at Denver Post full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people who work at The Denver Post are some of the smartest, most positive people I've ever worked with. I truly look forward to coming into work everyday.

    Cons

If you decide to opt into parking, the parking garage monthly fee is a little pricey ($140/month). But really any parking you find downtown is going to be expensive.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Denver Post in November 2016.

    Interview

I went on glassdoor prior to the phone interview with a recruiter for a analyst position in the advertising department. To be honest, I was not super enthusiastic about the call due to the negative reviews about management and the company in general. Seems like the newspaper industry is in trouble and would not provide much job security. However, I was pleasantly surprised after learning more about Denver Post and everything they are doing with Ad Taxi to stay competitive in the industry. The recruiter helped me understand more about the positive company culture and importance of the position that I was interviewing for.

I am waiting to hear if I make it to the next interview in the process and hopeful that I do as I am very interested in this position!!
