    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Department of Health UK (London, England (UK)) in November 2019.

    Interview

I had 30 minutes to prepare for a roleplaying exercising and after this I had five minutes for the roleplay. The questions that followed were all around competencies listed in the job description just framed differently. Also, was asked a bunch of questions which I was informed I will not be marked for, such as why do I want to work for the civil service followed by short questions which required quick answers such as "what motivates you?" These acted as a warm up exercise. I was told I could use the exact same competencies in my interview answers as in the application form.

Overall brilliant experience with the three interviewers. Everyone was nice and welcoming and explained the whole process very well.
