I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Desert Financial Credit Union (Phoenix, AZ) in May 2020.
I don’t know what is up with Desert Financial, but their hiring process is a hot mess. Besides having to complete a one-way video interview, then a separate behavioral assessment where you select all the adjectives which describe you and then a timed logic assessment test, the process from application to initial phone screen/rejection took 4 months. On top of that, the recruiter who reached out to me on LinkedIn and then called me to discuss the position had no idea I had already applied and completed the assessments although she was the one to send them to me 2 months prior.
They seem totally unorganized and unsympathetic to the tedious application/assessment process they require candidates to go through. I truly hope they find an HRBP to come in and clean the process up.
