Mission: Our mission is to create business excellence and enrich the lives of people.
I have been working at Design Group Staffing full-time (More than a year)
Not bad benefits and ok commission plan.
Nice view but a lazy office.
Downtown vancouver which is nice but that's great to get out of the office for a walk for a reality check.
No leadership, poor management, poor on-boarding, double standards and company first, clients last.
If you have morales, ethics and value leadership. Look elsewhere.
Advice to Management
Go back to managing accounts rather than people.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Design Group Staffing in June 2009.
Met practice manager, followed by number of other recruiters from the team. Had a short interview with CEO. There was HR / behavioural Test. And after reference checks, I was offered the role.
Salary is Draw against commissions. They don't negotiate commision structure. There is some flexibility to negotiate on draw but since its a recoverable draw, higher draw will put more pressure on you to perform. Its better to take minimum required draw, surpass that and earn commissions.
