    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Designit.

    Interview

I applied online and was contacted a while later by a recruiter with a subject line of another company. I was confused at first, but agreed to a phone screen after realizing the mistake. The phone screen was typical- the recruiter didn't understand how to talk about my role and gave a basic overview of the company. He also seemed to be confused on the role I was applying to in general. It was clear he was not a trained in HR and I'm not sure how he has managed to get the role he has.

Things went dark, but I was contacted maybe a month later by the recruiter, AGAIN with the wrong company title in the email. His emails were also incredibly informal- like he was writing to a high school buddy, not a candidate. When I called him out on the company error he blamed it on not getting enough sleep.

Overall the recruiting process seemed incredibly unprofessional and disorganized and I lost interest in a company that tolerates that kind of approach.
