I have been working at Diakon Logistics full-time (More than a year)
I have been in the logistics industry for over 35 years. I have worked for several 3PL companies and seen many different styles, approaches and leaders. Diakon strives to be the best. they accomplish that by hiring the best in the industry and allow them to run the business. Their #1 focus is "Taking car of Mrs. Jones" and they hold their ICC partners, staff, management and leaders to that standard. I made the mistake of leaving the company in 2011, but was blessed with the opportunity to return in 2016.
None that I can think of right off hand. All 3PL companies make mistakes , but Diakon is quick to recognize them and make corrections.
Advice to Management
Continue holding everyone to the high standards of "Taking care of Mrs. Jones"
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Diakon Logistics (New Braunfels, TX) in March 2016.
Interviewed with location manager and senior vp of operations. First I was escorted into a break room, left alone for over 15 minutes before the interview even started. The interview was pretty standard. The usual questions about yourself and what you're seeking in a career
