The top challenges facing marketers haven’t changed for decades. CMOs need to optimize their budgets and drive cost-effective opportunities into the sales funnel. With the advent of online marketing, CMOs and their teams could finally link their programs to the success of the business in the form of clicks, leads, and revenue.
The proliferation of smartphones is impacting this, however, through an unlikely source: customer calls. When a consumer elects to engage with a business by making a phone call – the natural conversion path on a mobile device – it creates a black hole that consumes the data marketers have grown to depend on.
DialogTech’s platform shines a bright light on this black hole, proving how every marketing dollar translates into calls and revenue. Our technology empowers marketers by providing the call attribution data needed to confidently invest in campaigns that drive calls, as well as the conversion technology necessary to control and personalize each caller’s experience, so each caller is routed to the right person at the right time, and more callers are converted to customers.
The human voice is our most powerful means of communication. Every time you speak with someone, you hear more than just their words and what they think – you hear who they are. You hear their age and their gender, where they’re from and how they feel. You hear what they really mean. It’s why in business, talking with your customers – engaging with them in meaningful conversation – is so effective at driving revenue and building stronger, more profitable relationships.
And in today’s mobile world, talking with customers is no longer optional – it’s mandatory. Smartphones, softphones, and technologies like WebRTC are conditioning consumers to call businesses throughout the customer journey – from initial research to purchase to post-sale support. Calls now drive the conversations that drive revenue – and companies that fail to not only generate these calls across marketing channels, but also control, personalize, and optimize the call experience face declining lead conversion rates, significant revenue loss, and damaging customer churn.
At DialogTech, we understand both the power and the necessity of voice-based conversation to fuel revenue growth and build customer loyalty. Our Voice360 platform combines voice-based marketing automation and inside sales acceleration technologies to give businesses the power to analyze, control, and personalize in real time the calls that occur throughout the customer journey.
For enterprise and agency marketers, DialogTech provides breakthrough call attribution and automation technology to not only prove and improve how calls are generated across marketing channels, but qualify and route callers in real time to the agent best suited to close the sale. The Voice360 platform also empowers sales and support agents to work in-office or remotely as one cohesive team, fielding calls on any device or phone system, with all activity monitored by management and every conversation recorded to measure and improve performance.
At DialogTech, voice is in our DNA. It’s who we are, and it’s reflected in more than just our platform. It’s the reason why our expert support staff is always available by phone, free of charge, to talk with our customers and help them solve their most pressing marketing, sales, and support challenges. We know how hard analyzing, controlling, and optimizing calls can be, so our technology and people are dedicated to making it easy.
In today’s mobile world, great companies are built with great conversations. Great conversations are built with DialogTech.
I worked at DialogTech full-time (More than 3 years)
Strong tradition of hiring the type of people that you want to work with. I truly enjoyed coming into work and interacting with my colleagues.
DialogTech is a leader in the space with some very impressive clients. There's no shortage of meaningful work for relatively low-level employees. You will have the opportunity to make mistakes and grow.
The product is genuinely interesting and meets a real need in the market.
If you're looking to start or make your next step in technology, this is an excellent choice.
If you're interested primarily in what a company can do for you, this might not be the place. Most of the real learning is done after onboarding and you may have to build a career path for yourself.
The product is far from perfect, but the same applies to DialogTech's competitors.
I don't see a lot of cons at DialogTech that don't also apply to most companies at this size and stage.
Advice to Management
Continue to invest in the product and integrations. Make it easier to understand and easier to sell.
Continue to build urgency and attention to detail into the culture.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at DialogTech (Chicago, IL) in June 2015.
I had one thirty min screening interview with recruiter about more general stuff (eg project etc). That was then followed by a longer more technical interview about past projects with a developer, more high level type conversation. Finally I was brought in to talk with senior people (CEO meets every candidate) and do some white boarding. Overall they seemed like a really nice group.
