    Pros

The company can be proud of an excellent team of senior developers who believe in the product and want it to succeed in the long term. However, apart from that, nothing else is worth mentioning, and there are some concerning issues that need to be addressed.

    Cons

One of the biggest problems lies in the company's management. The decisions they make are hasty and selfish. Rarely do they consider the impact of their decisions on the company, let alone on the team or individuals within it. After abolishing remote work and enforcing a return to the office, there are almost no benefits left. Prior to that, the option of private health insurance and a fitness pass was eliminated, meaning employees could choose only one of those two options.
Following all these decisions, the atmosphere in the company has become very poor. People are dissatisfied, and productivity has decreased. Despite numerous discussions with HR and management, all attempts to change this have failed.
Communication is extremely poor. Something is constantly being concealed and withheld. There is usually no reason for it, but it gives the wrong impression when it is later revealed, leaving room for various conspiracy theories. The company promotes transparency for years, but in reality, it operates in a completely non-transparent manner. In the company wide meetings everything is bright and wonderful, but we all know that things aren't really that way, and many things are left unsaid. There have been cases where a senior programmer interviewing another senior for the same position had a salary that was twice as low without their knowledge, and the company failed to recognize this and equalize the salaries.
The company lacks structure. Despite much discussion about this problem, nothing has been done. It is unclear who makes decisions. Ultimately, all decisions fall on one person (i.e., the founder), and nothing happens without their approval. High-level roles in the company have no autonomy; they can comment on a problem, but it will not be resolved unless recognized by the founder. Even if half of the company has been talking about the same problems for years.
As for the product itself, plans and priorities change almost daily and always come from the top. New features are constantly developed while the core of the product remains unfinished and full of holes. The user experience is very poor, and nothing is being done to address it, despite pointing out the same issues for years. Throughout the years, all employees have had various suggestions for improving specific aspects related to the product, but nothing has been implemented. The same story applies to sales. There is a constant pursuit of new clients, while little attention is given to existing clients who use the application less and less every day.
The relationship with employees is disappointing, with no understanding for personal problems. Remote work is only allowed on Fridays, without exceptions. In cases where employees can work from home due to a cold or family obligations, the company strictly imposes a policy that prohibits it and requires sick leave or a day off. This lack of flexibility and understanding creates a very negative work environment.
In conclusion, DIB Travel is a company with little positive and many negative aspects. While the development team consists of senior professionals, and their dedication to the project is commendable, there are many significant problems within the company. The atmosphere has deteriorated, benefits have been abolished or nonexistent, communication is very poor, transparency is almost non-existent, organization and structure are lacking, the core product is neglected due to constantly developing new features and changing priorities, and the relationship with employees is thoroughly disappointing. If considering a position within the company, negotiate for a salary large enough to compensate for all these shortcomings and do not expect things to improve.
