I worked at Dickson full-time (More than a year)
I worked at Dickson full time for two years. It was an excellent company to work for. From management on down, the people are what makes Dickson great. The company provides ongoing training and invests in their employees. Although it is a smaller company there are advancement opportunities. Management has an open door policy and welcomes any new ideas. Good pay and good hours.
Still some bugs to be worked out with the phone system and CRM program.
Advice to Management
Continue to care and believe in the employees.
I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Dickson (Addison, IL).
Very quick. Online assessment with immediate email response for a phone screen then in-person interview with hiring manager, managers and team. Everyone except for the actual sales team seemed dishonest about something. Certain questions such as which office? Chicago or Addison? ...weren't addressed (there is no Chicago office...it's used to attract candidates). Tactics such as leave room and come back with "concerns" to drive salary down. Be prepared to discuss salary right off the bat.
