I have been working at Dimension Data full-time (More than 5 years)

Work from home options provide nice flexibility and the company provides excellent PTO time that increases annually. There are lots of technical and sales oriented learning/training resources available to employees who want to excel. Great people in all offices.

The company allows employees to become burnt out before it takes action on certain things. 401k match is mediocre. Systems and processes can be messy and cumbersome. Culture is improving, but there is still a bad aura around several offices following several rounds of layoffs over the years.

    Advice to Management

Putting the customer at the center of everything you do is only beneficial if you've already taken care of your employees. Don't forget your most important asset(s).

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dimension Data (Reston, VA) in December 2017.

Had a call with the internal recruiter. Went through my resume extensively. Walked them through my relevant experience and how it fit with the position I was applying for. Scheduled 3 interviews with Hiring manager, Client Manager and Director of Pre-sales.

Spoke to Tim Orrell and Bryce Stokes-Grow. They were both very professional and punctual. They were organized and accommodating with my tight schedule. Great folks to interview with.
