    Positive Outlook

I worked at Diocese of Dallas full-time (More than 10 years)

Allows time daily to attend a Mass, pray and be reminded of how we should treat others. Wonderful people of all denominations working together for a common purpose.

Not enough training when expectations are set to perform duties that are new to the employee.

    Advice to Management

Provide training on those willing to learn and trust that they will be loyal and use the training wisely.

    Average Interview

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Diocese of Dallas (Dallas, TX).

Scan website for employment opportunities. Standard application and interview processes were followed. Interviewed by a panel of principal, department chair, and president of the school. The interviewers asked me how I would respond to various classroom situations, discipline issues, parent concerns, et cetera. They asked questions about books that I have recently read and how I would teach certain subjects.

    Interview Questions

    • What is your salary expectation. We all know that Catholic schools do not pay a family wage. I need a family wage to support my family. I had to ask for more than most teachers earned.   1 Answer
