Mission: Disability Rights California works to advance dignity, equality, independence and freedom for all Californians with disabilities.
I have been working at Disability Rights California full-time (More than a year)
I have worked here for a year and have really enjoyed it. It is inspiring to see how much the employees care about advocating for Californians with disabilities. It is also impressive how much the agency values diversity and inclusion.
It's a nonprofit, so at times you have to be scrappy in order to get the work done. That being said, the technology used is just as advanced as any other organization I have been a part of.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Disability Rights California (Los Angeles, CA).
They review your resume, and then if you selected you have in person interview. If you are bilingual, they will have you to translate a conservation. The interview is about 4 people and they are very nice.
