I have been working at Diversified Conveyors full-time (More than 3 years)

A culture of approachability, open door mindset from management and human nature of the workspace, you have a chance to know who you are working with and working for easily, creating a space for you to know your professional character in contrast giving you a lot of learning potentials and growth tracks.
For new graduates and professional engineers, the culture in DCI is intense not just in its contrast to school but at the pace of work however this prepares them better to handle challenges and builds a lot of professional character, setting one up for a strong engineering career, this comes at a cost which I will mention in the cons. The team of engineers in DCI is very talented and knowledgeable, their expertise and desire to train new guys holds a lot of promise for new recruits.

Insufficient training and documentation of processes often lead to people to feel less equipped to handle the challenges of a rapidly growing company.
One of the key challenges is communication across different departments, the high rate of growth in the size of the company has caused silos in the different departments, a lot is lost in translation and improper communication. The company has had a lot of moving pieces due to the nature of the (much deserved) quick expansion in size and workload.
Appraisals/reviews are very dependant on the supervisor and immediate senior management and whether they find value in you, having a template and increased transparency could help with the process.

    Advice to Management

An increased focus and emphasis on documentation and better understanding across departments on the roles and workflow expectations.
Focus on all the stakeholders in the company, the focus on charity is very heart fulfilling, however, more investment in training and equipping the team could help the company retain and grow the team and do more charity in the future,
Good CRM and good vendor management are key as the company is strategically positioned for shaping the industry it is in.
Interdepartmental transfers and transparency can help to create a unified company where employees can contribute to the company.

    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Diversified Conveyors (Memphis, TN) in December 2016.

Interviewed in person and over the phone. Very intense interview and you must align with their beliefs otherwise the work life is not in sync. They are very open to giving anyone a chance and all about not judging people by their past.
