    Software Engineer Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Diversified Technical Systems (Seal Beach, CA) in June 2014.

    Interview

Had 2 different interviews. One was basic HR type stuff telling me about the company. Second phone interview was technical in nature: tech leads and engineers quizzing me about different software engineering methodologies, C++ and C# questions, some design questions, etc. They said they'd be in contact and sounded very upbeat.

I thought I did very well, then SILENCE. I heard absolutely nothing back from them. After going back and forth with about 10 emails and several phone calls before the interview, they completely forgot about me. Not even the COURTESY to say I didn't get the job.

    Interview Questions

    • Some design questions that I didn't have experience in. Asking me about how to design certain software components based in limited customer input.   Answer Question
