    Software Engineer Interview

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Docker (San Francisco, CA) in December 2015.

    Interview

Interview process was long. Started with a phone interview with a recruiter, then moved to a coding interview with another programmer. Coding was language-agnostic. On-site interview was an all-day affair; came in in the morning and went through a series of interviews with different people of varying levels of technical granularity. Emphasis was on thought process, not on code.
