I worked at Doctible full-time (More than a year)
My biggest takeaway from my time at Doctible would have to be the amazing training program they have. Not only do they set you up to succeed at the role, but also for the future after if you decide to leave. I have grown more confident in my own abilities mainly due to the experience I had while working here. On top of all that, the people who work here are nothing short of fantastic. It's a stressful job but the culture and atmosphere made it fun to come to work.
Plus, it didn't hurt that we get to leave work early on Fridays. That was so cool.
The only drawback I'd have to mention is the low compensation, but that's the nature of a startup. They're very transparent about everything when you sign up so you know what you're getting into.
Advice to Management
Keep on hustling to get better pay and benefits for employees.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Doctible (San Diego, CA) in December 2017.
Totally unprofessional. Do they already have an internal or H-1B candidate in mind? Wasted three hours of my time and never got back to me regarding how I did. These days it seems that the supposed shortage of software developers is over with.
