    Interview

Started off with the standard HR screening then an interview with the hiring manager via remote video call. After the interview, I was asked to complete an unpaid design test / spec work--the test asked for me to design a collection of 7-10 products in a week's time based off of one of their brands. I asked for the opportunity to present my work or at least review it over the phone but was denied the request. After radio silence of 2+ weeks with follow ups I received a rejection letter from HR. 7-10 product designs is A LOT of FREE work you're asking your applicants to commit to do for a whole lot of nothing in return. Really exposes themselves as your run of the mill fast fashion company who only cares about churning out as much as possible for their profits.
    Interview

The hiring manager asked me to answer rapidly "how much time it would take, down to the minute, to complete a line drawing of x, y, z", they named around 10 different items.
