I worked at Dollywood full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I really loved my time at Dollywood and I feel as though I received tons of invaluable experience. I started out as Part-time in Attractions and after a year I was approached about becoming a safety trainer. Less than a year later, I was a Team Lead and learned so many things from the wonderful people in attractions. My supervisor and manager were so helpful in preparing me and helping me to achieve my goals.

    Cons

Other than the long days, there aren't any cons to working in attractions. As long as they can see you trying and working to be your best, they are satisfied and will help you move to a position you would like to be in.

    Advice to Management

    Just keep doing the same!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Dollywood.

    Interview

I received an email on a Monday that said I had been selected for a phone interview in the next week. I went online to select a time, as directed, and picked the following Monday from the available time slots. I received an email on Thursday (before my phone interview) saying the position had been filled. Very disappointing that Dollywood would be so unprofessional with their hiring processes.
