I worked at Dover Downs Gaming part-time (More than 3 years)

A good payscale, Employee financial classes, tax help, and some medical and dental insurance which in the service industry is hard to find. It was a very good job. Fairly flexible scheduling, and a good working environment. They took the time to host holiday parties and always gave a small gift card to all employees. When you have a thousand employees - that is a nice gesture.

Worst HR ever. It seemed they could not answer (or gave different answers) to questions regarding vacation, leave, sick time, points, etc. There was the occasional person in management simply because they had been there "forever" and not because they were qualified. That happens everywhere though.

    Advice to Management

Nothing major. Its a good company.

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Dover Downs Gaming (Dover, DE) in September 2013.

Friendly and to the point. Live scenarios that required thinking and action. Honest and explanatory. Give you a clear definition of what your future would be like if you get the position that was being offered.
