I'm going to be honest: If I go to a website and am greeted by a chatbot, any chatbot, that asks 'How can I help' I immediately click out of it. Why? Because it's not a conversation starter. It's a passive message that doesn't interest me as a future buyer.

Well, it started out great. It's a little bit of a lengthy process with 6 different interview times speaking to 5 people and one exercise using their video platform, but it was a wholesome look at what I thought was a company of integrity. Unfortunately, there's a handful of disconnect and dishonesty. I was actually approached on (Redacted) by (Redacted) and went through the entire process with ease. Given that (Redacted) seemed to have given me hopes, I was shocked to learn they didn't want to proceed with me. This turned into sheer disappointment when their excuse was that "they wanted to move on with other candidates" and would have my resume on file. Well, (Redacted) posted shortly after on (Redacted) that they would be hiring more SDRs. Was their disconnect, or dishonesty? Well, it's the latter given that the response several weeks after I sent a follow-up email and phone call to (Redacted) was that they didn't know if I wanted a long-term or short-term job (impossible given that I've talked to about 10 companies and always lead with "I'm seeking long-term" employment) and lack of curiosity (also not true given that I've asked at least 2 questions per interview time, which makes it 12 times I asked questions). Beware of disconnect and dishonesty. Yes, I have the receipts to all these interactions.
