Mission: Drive exists to enhance the quality of life of the people we touch.
I worked at Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare full-time (More than 5 years)
The company paid well paid well and from what i understand some office had great perks ( but not all satellite offices, or anywhere that was not corporate headquarters)
"Too many chiefs, not enough indians" is a common theme here. Too many people trying to be in charge but it comes across competitive and confusing the individuals trying to get the actual work done.
There is also a lack of forward moving. Processes that worked 10 years ago when the company was new cannot continue to be productive as the company has expanded so much.
Advice to Management
Restructuring is needed in upper management. Departments NEED to know what is going on between them. Every department has complaints that they are getting crossed messages, that other departments which they have to work with daily are in the dark about important issues. There is a severe disconnect between satellite office too. The company has grown to the point where there needs to be some change as far as how things are done. Processes which worked when the company started cannot work with a company this big.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare (Port Washington, NY).
I would compare the interview process to water boarding; slow, tedious and drives you out of your mind. The people that work here seem to be living in a North Korean gulag. The interviews lasted for hours. I met with almost everyone who worked for the company until I got up, thanked them and left. I think they would have had the mail room clerk interview me if I had stayed. It was really ridiculous.
