I have been working at DuBois Chemicals full-time (More than 10 years)
DuBois is a company with an impressive growth rate by any standard. The company is big enough to have all the resources you need, but still small enough to move quickly and respond to new or changing opportunities.
Many employees stay with DuBois for much of their career. Employees with 20 years service are common and 30 to even 40 years service is not unusual.
Improvement could be made in training and developing career path planning.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at DuBois Chemicals.
After applying online through filling out a questionnaire, I was given the opportunity to schedule a phone interview with a hiring manager. It involved some typical questions and lasted about 15 minutes.
I rated this a negative experience because it soon became clear they did not actually look at the online questionnaire, repeating an answer I had already submitted made the interviewer doubt I actually wanted to work at Dubois Chemical and the interview did not go well after that point. It seemed like a waste of time, because it seems like if they had actually screened the applicants they would have known not to give me an interview.
