    Pros

This company went through an acquisition while I was an intern. Formerlly Genencor (a Danisco Division). It was a great place to work, had a positive work environment. There was always ways to find out more information about how each department/team was doing. The employees were able to get to know each other through different company sponsored events such as grill outs, softball teams and CR Kernels baseball nights.

    Cons

-As an intern in HR there wasn't any opportunities to stay with the company in Cedar Rapids after I graduated. If there had been I would still be there.

    Advice to Management

The managers were always willing to answer questions when I was helping source candidates and schedule interviews. It is an open environment and every is part of the team. Keep it up!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DuPont™ Danisco® (Cedar Rapids, IA) in January 2012.

    Interview

I had an initial phone interview with the hiring manager (HR Manager) and then came on-site for an interview with the hiring manager and one other HR employee. The interview was easy-average difficulty. It was more focused on my experiences in school because I didn't have much previous experience being I was interviewing for an internship. The process went very smoothly and they followed up quickly too.
