In our Restructuring practice in the United Kingdom and Ireland, we offer placement opportunities for students who are required to complete a year of professional experience before returning to school to finish their final year of study. We accept placement students after they have completed 2 years of an undergraduate program.

LOCATION SPECIFIC AND DIVISION SPECIFIC. At Duff & Phelps it all depends on which office you work in and what division you are in.
There are many amazing people at this firm and in my group the leadership is outstanding while the client work is top of the line and fascinating.
I know there are offices around the world and certain divisions that are not functioning well, but with such a large firm this is somewhat expected but, shouldn't be the case.
Billable hours structure, recent private equity deal (still panning out)
Advice to Management
-Work on retaining top talent by paying more, especially to the entire VAS division which is critical to the firm.
-Culture goes a very long way in employee satisfaction, Duff & Phelps should host more firm-wide or office-wide events and team-building type stuff like you see at similar firms such as Deloitte/Houlihan
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Duff & Phelps.
Technical focused with few competency questions. Important to understand the intricacies of valuation methodologies. Understand why you want to work for D&P and why valuations in particular. Brainteasers were challenging but enjoyable.
