Upward mobility in the company. The Founder, CEO and Chief Sales Officer spent a week in our market training us! They could have sent a training team but they care about the success of their team and it showed. 3 salespeople to one Executive coaching and inspiring every sales employee on business planning and how we can increase our commissions. I can already tell after the busy Presidents Day weekend that putting the knowledge I learned not only helped me with my personal sales goals but made for a happier guest experience.
Weekend and holiday hours, but you can’t really consider that a Con because that IS when I write a large percentage of my sales.
Advice to Management
Share the Business Planning training with the rest of the market as soon as possible. A hotline where the salespeople could ask follow up questions on what was taught and help for areas we are still struggling with. Communicate with the field. Friendly competition.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dufresne Spencer Group (Chattanooga, TN).
The Sales Manager didn't seem very experienced at interviewing but was very nice. He asked very basic questions and mainly wanted to make sure I was ok with working retail hours/days.
