    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Duke Regional Hospital (Durham, NC) in April 2017.

    Interview

Two tier interviewing process. You'd interview with the Nurse Manager as well as the Nurse Educator. Once the offer for employment has been accepted, you'd start at the location in an "orientation" period. This 3-6 month period allows co-workers to review and give feedback about the new hire to the Nurse Manager and Nurse Educator. They deliberate employment needs with the new hire's ability to assimilate to the surgical specialties and team members.

    Interview Questions

    • How do you deal with employees or surgeons that are negative or difficult to work with? What would be your reaction if a medical emergency happened in the OR during surgery?   Answer Question
