At Dunkin’ Brands, we don’t just serve our franchisees and customers of our brands. We support our communities with our commitment to service. With that mindset as our basis, we commit to giving back by providing all full-time employees with five hours of paid volunteer time each quarter to perform community service. Our commitment has resulted in our employees dedicating approximately 3,000 hours per year to support great causes, such as filling backpacks with nutritious food for children in need, sorting donations at food banks, preparing meals at local shelters, hosting blood drives, and cleaning up local parks.
Bringing joy to sick and hungry kids.
The Joy in Childhood Foundation provides the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids. Since 2006, the Joy in Childhood Foundation (formerly The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation) has been deeply embedded in communities across the country and has donated over $11 million to hundreds of national and local charities.
In 2016, the Foundation rebranded as the Joy in Childhood Foundation, a name that reflects our renewed focus on helping kids—particularly those facing hunger and sickness—find joy in their daily lives.
Through the generosity of our franchisees, employees, vendors and guests, the Joy in Childhood Foundation raises funds to support partnerships with children’s hospitals, food banks, and nonprofit organizations directly committed to serving sick and hungry kids.

Medical Coverage: Dunkin' Brands offers a choice of comprehensive medical and prescription drug plans, designed to provide employees and their dependents with the most appropriate care for their medical needs. Spouses, dependent children, domestic partners, and dependent children of domestic partners are eligible dependents. The cost of coverage is shared by the company and the employee.
Dental Coverage: Dunkin' Brands offers two dental plan options that include coverage for preventive care, major and minor restorative care, as well as orthodontia. The cost of coverage is shared by the company and the employee.
Vision Coverage: Dunkin' Brands provides a voluntary vision insurance plan to cover eye care needs, as well as hardware; plus employees can take advantage of great discounts on laser vision correction and non-covered lens options. This benefit is employee paid.
Basic Life Insurance: Dunkin’ Brands provides company paid life insurance equal to two times the employee's annual base pay (up to a maximum of $1,000,000). Employee paid supplemental life insurance is also available.
Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D): In the event of an accidental injury or death, Dunkin’ Brands provides coverage equal to two times the employee's annual base pay (up to a maximum of $750,000), which is also company paid. Employee paid supplemental AD&D coverage is also available.
Short-term Disability (STD) and Long-term Disability (LTD): After three months of service, Dunkin’ Brands offers short-term disability that is fully paid by the company and long-term disability at the employee’s election.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): Dunkin' Brands offers health care and dependent care FSAs for payment of eligible health and dependent care expenses with tax-free dollars.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Dunkin’ Brands provides employees with confidential counseling, information, and referrals on a wide range of potential concerns, ranging from stress or anxiety, work and family issues, legal consultations and elder care. Telephone assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This benefit is for employees and their household members and is company paid.
Wellness Program: Dunkin’ Brands offers employees a comprehensive wellness program designed to support good health and help them feel good from the inside out. Throughout the year, employees can participate in range of activities designed to promote physical fitness and all around employee wellness.
401 (k) Plan: Dunkin’ Brands offers employees a convenient way to save for their future using pre-tax dollars. The Company matches dollar-for-dollar up to the first 4 percent of an employee’s contribution.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan: The Dunkin' Brands Employee Stock Purchase plan is a voluntary benefit program that allows eligible employees to buy Dunkin' Brands Stock at a discounted price through payroll deductions.
Tuition Reimbursement: After 6 months of service, Dunkin’ Brands provides up to $5,000 reimbursement (for tuition only) to employees who complete approved undergraduate or graduate level courses under the program's eligibility guidelines.
Paid Time Off:
Vacation: Dunkin' Brands provides 3 weeks of vacation time per year that begins accruing upon an employee’s date of hire, for all employees who work a minimum of 21 hours per week. The benefit increases to 4 weeks per year after 5 years of service and 5 weeks per year after 12 years of service.
Holidays: All employees who work a minimum of 21 hours per week are provided with 11 paid holidays per calendar year.
Sick Time: Dunkin’ Brands provides sick time to all regular employees, earned at the rate of one hour for every thirty hours worked.
Personal Time: In addition to vacation and sick time, Dunkin’ Brands provides employees with 2 personal days per year, which are pro-rated for an employee’s first year of service.
Bereavement: All employees are eligible for up to 3 paid days off due to the loss of a family member. Additional days may be available if the employee needs to make funeral arrangements or to travel out of the area.

It's a 7 day a week business so be prepared.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Dunkin' Brands in September 2017.
Dunkin recruiter reached out to me. we spoke on the phone, I completed their required one way video interview and spoke to the hiring manager. The interviews themselves were easy and not very technical for an analytics role.
The recruiter was not professional in their communications (typos etc) and was tardy to our call and had to reschedule. After 2+ hours of my time invested, the recruiter did not follow-up with me or respond to my emails. If I wasn’t a fit for the role I would have completely understood, but I firmly believe candidates who have invested their time in the process should be given the respect of a “No”, not left waiting for a response.
Treat your candidates with respect, they could become your employees someday. You’re busy? So are we.
