Mission: Community is the heart of our business. The Foundation's mission is to serve the basic needs of our communities through food for the hungry, safety and children's health. It's what we do every day.

Dunkin' Brands – Why Work For Us?

At Dunkin’ Brands, we know that a great, thriving company starts with great culture and engaged employees. Whether our employees spend their days in front of a computer, in the field visiting our restaurants, or in our culinary lab, they are united by our employee value proposition: Extraordinary Brands, Extraordinary People, and the drive to make Dunkin’ Brands an incredible place to work.

We strive to create a safe, fun environment that rewards talent and hard work and provides employees with the tools they need to succeed, including training and professional development opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Diversity & Inclusion
At Dunkin’ Brands we understand that in order to succeed in the marketplace we must not only reflect the diversity of our guests in our employees, franchisees and suppliers, but we must also ensure that diversity is inclusive in cultivating ideas that actively contribute to every aspect of our business.

Dunkin’ Brands’ diversity and inclusion strategy is focused on the following six pillars:

  • Building Strategic Relationships: Fostering diversity through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) such as the Women's Integrated Network (WIN), INspire for LGBTQ employees and their allies, and the Dunkin' Brands Inclusion Network.
  • Education: Building cultural awareness and intelligence among our employees.
  • Outreach and Recruitment: Recruiting and retaining diverse employees and cultivating a diverse franchisee base.
  • Mentoring and Succession Planning: Identifying and developing high-potential women and minority leaders.
  • Multicultural Marketing: Using insights to build culturally relevant marketing programs that reach our target audiences.
  • Supplier Diversity: Increasing the number of and spend with women- and minority-owned suppliers and vendors.

Our Franchisee and Licensee Partners
While franchisees, licensees and their employees are not employed by us, they are a large part of the brands. In addition to our diversity initiatives, we offer U.S. franchisees a robust training program and provide them with general news and trends on issues that are relevant to them and their businesses.

At Dunkin’ Brands, we don’t just serve our franchisees and customers of our brands. We support our communities with our commitment to service. With that mindset as our basis, we commit to giving back by providing all full-time employees with five hours of paid volunteer time each quarter to perform community service. Our commitment has resulted in our employees dedicating approximately 3,000 hours per year to support great causes, such as filling backpacks with nutritious food for children in need, sorting donations at food banks, preparing meals at local shelters, hosting blood drives, and cleaning up local parks.

Bringing joy to sick and hungry kids.

The Joy in Childhood Foundation provides the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids. Since 2006, the Joy in Childhood Foundation (formerly The Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Community Foundation) has been deeply embedded in communities across the country and has donated over $11 million to hundreds of national and local charities.

In 2016, the Foundation rebranded as the Joy in Childhood Foundation, a name that reflects our renewed focus on helping kids—particularly those facing hunger and sickness—find joy in their daily lives.

Through the generosity of our franchisees, employees, vendors and guests, the Joy in Childhood Foundation raises funds to support partnerships with children’s hospitals, food banks, and nonprofit organizations directly committed to serving sick and hungry kids.

Inspired by Diversity

At Dunkin’ Brands, we believe that a culture of diversity and inclusion where each person is valued and respected delivers better business results.  Dunkin’ Brands is committed to fostering a workplace where diversity and inclusion thrive and where we reflect the wide range of customers we serve. Toward this end, these are just some of the initiatives we have in place.

  • Diversity in our Business. We have formed a committee to look at all angles of our business in order to ensure that they reflect our commitment. This committee includes members from Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Franchising.
  • Affiliations and Memberships. Dunkin’ Brands partners with many organizations in our communities, including:
    • ALPFA - Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting.  We have been involved with several Boston Chapter events, including the Student Symposium and the Coaching and Mentoring program.
    • LATINA CIRCLE - Provides Latina professionals across industries with meaningful networking, mentoring and business partnering opportunities. We sponsor a quarterly Networking Breakfast called Cafecitos.
    • MFHA - Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance. The Alliance helps members effectively engage multicultural employees, customers and communities to grow their business. Dunkin’ Brands holds a seat on their board.
    • 100,000 Jobs Mission. Dunkin’ Brands is one of 170 companies who have committed to hiring veterans through this national initiative to support our military.
    • Year Up - A one-year, intensive training program that provides low-income young adults, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skill development, college credits, corporate internships, and support.

At Dunkin’ Brands, we believe in taking care of our employees, and we start with great perks, such as:

  • Opportunities to enjoy our products at our worldwide headquarters throughout your workday, including ‘America’s favorite coffee’, donuts, baked goods and Baskin-Robbins ice cream
  • An on-site Fitness Facility (and for field-based employees, reimbursement towards gym membership)
  • Electric car charging stations at corporate headquarters
  • Early release Fridays, every Friday all year long

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Dunkin' Brands.

    Interview

After applying and personality assessment I was contacted via email for a phone interview with Talent Acquisition, Onsite interview (2 hours-4 people), Completed a Case Study, Second Onsite Interview (2 hours - 4 people). Seemed like a personality test the whole time. Had to keep following up, Recruiting was a little disorganized. Seemed like a good environment but process needs streamlining. After all that it was filled "internally"....
