Director of Software Product Management Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at E Source (Boulder, CO).

    Interview

    Phone screen
Met with the VP (1st visit)
Panel interview with Research team (1st visit)
Interview with one of the owners of the company (1st visit)
    Hr VP (1st visit)
Met with VP of Software Development (2nd visit)

They went overboard with asking questions about research when they proclaim to be an agile company. Many forums list this as the bread and butter of the company but if you are hiring an agile director of software development, you need to interview them as such. Ask about agile roadmaps, agile culture, understanding MoSCow ratings and Kano scores.

    Interview Questions

    • How do you feel about our weighted product vetting excel spreadsheet? This was followed by the VP showing proprietary information of the company which is a questionable thing.   Answer Question
