E3's Green Initiatives

An early part of E3’s Green Initiatives was to implement a recycling program at our headquarters office, which limited paper waste by increasing our use of online file storage and sharing systems. We established our headquarters in a building with an Energy Star certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. As E3 began to grow, so did our desire for a more robust environmental impact mitigation plan that involved encouraging all employees to get more engaged in environmental activities through our E3 Cares (community service) volunteer programs. Together, these programs help us be better stewards of the environment. The reaches of our Green Initiatives program will grow as E3 continues to grow. 

We are members of the following associations:

  • Weather Ready Nation Ambassador 

Internally, we will always value our employee relationships. We will continuously strive to strengthen the E3 family and will seek out opportunities to help our colleagues in need. E3 has four Annual Employee Awards:

The Ryan McArdle Peer Award recognizes an employee each year for providing excellent service to the client, for helping and supporting fellow employees, and for demonstrating E3’s core values. Ryan McArdle, one of E3's first employees to support one of E3’s GSA clients, passed away unexpectedly. He was a tremendous worker who contributed immensely to the client's mission; as a company, we chose to honor Ryan by naming our Peer Award after him.

The Igniting Innovation Award is E3’s newest award, which identifies, recognizes, and promotes the best innovations implemented each year in support of E3’s government customer’s mission. Innovation may be correlated to positive changes in efficiency, productivity, quality, citizen service and mission readiness.

The E3 Employee of the Year Award recognizes an employee on an annual basis for demonstrating superior performance, for providing excellent support to the client and to E3, and for exemplifying E3’s core values.

The Anderson Award recognizes a manager each year for exhibiting E3's core values; for going above and beyond in supporting clients, employees, and the company; and for embodying the role of Leader, Manager, and Corporate Citizen. In January 2018, E3 lost a great member of the management community, Ms. Laura Anderson. She is remembered for her unwavering optimism and her commitment to excellence, which is why E3 chose to honor Laura's memory by naming this award after her. ​
