    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ECMC (Minneapolis, MN) in August 2019.

    Interview

I applied online, received an email from the recruiter regarding my availability for an in-person interview, scheduled the interview, and completed the interview. When I arrived for the interview, the recruiter led me into a small room with a small table and spoke with me for about 15 minutes. Then the department manager came in. He was wearing sweats. During the interview, he sneezed and sniffed, complaining about his allergies. He slouched down in his chair. He complained about his wife's hometown in Nebraska (how small it was, how difficult it was for her growing up there because her mother was a teacher, there weren't any grocery stores, but there were bars). He complained about people from the southern part of the United States (they say you're a "peach," but they mean they don't like you) and he complained about people from the East Coast (they're rude). Wow! At the end of the interview, he said I'd receive a call the following week advising whether I had been selected for a second interview. I never received communication from the recruiter; however, I checked online and found out I was no longer under consideration for the position. The job was interesting and something I would have enjoyed doing; however, the interview was also "interesting."
