    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at ECPI University.

    Interview

I interviewed at one campus, but the hours required multiple late nights because there was only one other FA advisor. That schedule didn't work for me at the time. I then interviewed with a different campus months later and I experienced the same interview process:

First you will receive a call that the campus is interested and wants you to come in to take an assessment. The assessment feels more like an IQ or SAT readiness test. The questions are not related to the position at all.

At both campuses I met with either the senior FA advisor or FA director and the campus president in the same day. I'm not sure if that's common or not. The first campus was much smaller, and the second campus did the favor of squeezing everything into one day since I came from out of town. I received an email a few days later to complete background information through the contracted background check company and received an offer by phone call the very next day contingent on background results.

    Interview Questions

    • The questions gauge your ability to work with the demographic of students at the campus (whether it be military or economic disadvantage), get a feel for your FA experience, and determine if you will mesh well with the goals of the admissions department   Answer Question

ECPI started from humble beginnings, celebrates golden anniversary

In 1982, IBM recruiters from Florida arrived on the ECPI University campus and hired 17 students on the spot. "The PC had just been released and IBM realized they needed to gear up for a big increase in manufacturing," said David Abeshaheen, a 36-year veteran of the ECPI staff.
