I have been working at ECRS full-time (More than 10 years)
This is a company where every employee can have a direct impact on daily operations. It will be up to the individual as to whether that impact is positive or negative. I have been working at ECRS for a good while now, and I know that the negative impact employees are never here for long. They either quit, or are let go, as to not bring the company down with them.
Management is responsive and fair. Compensation is evaluated with performance and is among the highest in our area. Benefits are better than any of my friends at other companies.
Founded in 1989, the company is fiscally conservative and always runs in the black. Job security is never a worry if you are contributing to the company in a positive way.
If you are smart, motivated, and work well with others, this is the place for you.
As a constantly growing company, policies and positions shift frequently. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be challenging at times.
I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at ECRS (Boone, NC) in January 2011.
Interviewed by the Executive Vice President (HR) and the department manager. Rather unstructured interview with probing questions. 3 total interviews during the process. It was a relaxed setting for the primary interview. A phone interview preceeded the interview in person. Which was followed by a lunch interview. Being for an entry level position it was a little extensive, however, the company has had great success in hiring qualified individuals.
