I worked at EDSA full-time (More than 3 years)
Great talented designers. Worked on some interesting and diverse projects in the US and around the world, in different scales. My direct manager and senior staff were very open on project emails so I got to know what's going on about projects very well which I really appreciate. Family style events and gatherings are very nice. People from different cultures enriches the company culture diversity.
Too many bosses, too many gossips sometimes negative. Corporate feeling is getting strong. Principals are all under great pressure of bringing money, getting things done, billing sooner, a little of lack on quality control on certain projects. Sustainable practice got started but not well applied, depending on clients's demand instead of professional principle.
Advice to Management
Be transparent to each other instead of fighting each other. Whatever is up there can be sensed and passed on to lower level staff, which is not necessary healthy.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EDSA (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in February 2017.
Applied online, emailed for an interview about a month later. Initial interview was about how I was introduced to Landscape Architecture, courses I've taken, basic info. Interview went well I felt, was never contacted again about whether or not I was selected to continue the process.
