    Assistant Residence Manager Interview

Anonymous Employee in Springfield Gardens, NY
    Accepted Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5+ weeks. I interviewed at EIHAB Human Services (Springfield Gardens, NY) in July 2014.

    Interview

I had two interviews and was offered the position, which I now regret accepting. I was hired and not asked too many questions outside the norm. Basic interview questions about your past jobs, why you left, if you could return to former jobs.

    Interview Questions

    • I was asked if there were any reasons that I might not be able to perform my job duties.   Answer Question
    • I was asked about my specific duties at my previous jobs and my driving record with them.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

They made me a flat offer. I didn't have much negotiating power because I was fresh out of college and only had a year and a half experience as a DCC. I accepted the offer but the job required more work than the money was worth.
