I worked at ET Lawson full-time (More than a year)
The employees are all very nice and helpful.
The President of the company is very inconsiderate of his employees. He is on a power trip and doesn't care how his scheduling decisions affect his employees. He is the President of the company and what he says goes, no questions asked.
They may hire you for an 8-5 job, but it is subject to change at any time. They have an after hours emergency service that requires one to work from home. There are 9 time slots this service, 7 of which are 7 hours per evening, 5pm-12am, and 2 that are 10 hours per day, 7am-5pm. These hours are generally split between 3 people so you work at home and at whichever office Mr. President deems necessary, when ever he deems it is necessary. You do not get any type of pay differential to make up for the fact that you cannot get 40 hours per week working as an emergency dispatcher and you are not given the option to not be an emergency dispatcher if working from home is not plausible. You will work all holidays, except one of your choice, if no one else has already claimed it.
They "dock" the service departments employees for 30 minutes each day for lunch if they get a chance to take it or not. There is absolutely no opportunity for advancement at this company. They will hire someone off of the street before they will offer you another position.
