Mission: ETR is a behavioral health non-profit devoted to providing science-based programs and services, driven by our mission to advance health and opportunities for youth and families.
I worked at ETR Associates part-time (More than 8 years)
Great flexibility and benefits, good staff, meaningful work in adolescent and school health, primary focus on sexual and reproductive health but other health topics addressed
New leadership, moving through a strategic transition. Little investment in staff professional development. Work culture structured in silos.
Advice to Management
Invest in more staff professional development to develop innovative research and programs. Allow more movement of staff between projects to develop skill sets.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ETR Associates.
I submitted by application (resume and cover letter) and within two weeks I received an email about setting up a phone interview. I had a phone interview 1 on 1 with one of the research assistants. They asked general interview questions, covering my previous experience and interest in the field and type of work. I thought it was a non-intimidating and easy going interview. It lasted an hour, although we got to chatting a bit about other related topics after the interview bit was finished. Have questions prepared to ask them! That seemed to impress the person I spoke with. Within two weeks, I had an answer which came through email
